It's rainy this Sunday so we decided to make shake ice cream. This has been around for years. It's fun and my son loves to make it because he can add is own special ingredients.
Ingredients
1 to 2 tablespoons depending on how sweet you want it.
1 cup milk or half & half
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Special ingredients, we use chocolate chips but you can use what you like.
6 Tbs rock salt we use 7 Tbs regular salt
1 pint zip lock plastic bag, we used 2 sandwich bags 1 put into the other for extra strength.
1 gallon zip lock plastic bag
Fill gallon bag half full with ice. Add salt to bag of ice.
Pour sugar,milk,vanilla any special ingredients in pint size zip lock plastic bag and seal.
Place the pint size sealed zip bag into the gallon zip bag and seal the gallon bag.
Shake for 5 to 7 min
When done open the gallon bag and take small bag out open and pour ice cream in bowl and ENJOY!http://todayscreativeblog.net
