Pucci inspired Yarn Art Project

For this class I used a pucci style dress I purchased at one of my favorite shops in Sarasota Florida to inspire the kids when making there designs.
Materials
Yarn
Glue
Paint brush
Board, cardboard, or chipboard
Pencil
Cord  (for hanging)
First cut your board backing to the size you want. Draw a 1" border around the edge. Have the kids pencil there design using stencils and rulers. Start gluing yarn on sections of the patterns when there done gluing yarn to all the pattern areas then glue yarn on back round area. You can use yarn or paint or sharpie to cover 1" edge. We used the rubber stuff that you put under a carpet to stop it from slipping.
Make 2 holes on the top edge put cord threw and hang. Don't forget to sign your art.
ENJOY!
