These photos were taken on a walk over to my horse barn in the morning. I am always amazed by the inspiring nature all around me. The colors, shapes and textures. I had quite a few photos so I will be posting part 1 and part 2.

Birds nests I found on the ground, the one on the left is horse hair. The birds love to make nests from my miniature horses hair, but they blow away easily and I find them on the ground a lot.
These are spiky balls from the sugar gum tree. I wish I could figure out something to make out of them that I could sell because we have thousands of them on our land.

Our Eastern red bud tree is so beautiful this time of the year.
What lovely photos! I wish I could find so many neat natural treasures around here... we have the mountains, but the rocks aren't really that interesting! And not too many interesting blooms and seedpods, since it is too dry to grow much here! Glad you enjoyed your walk!
